Ari Brickman is the Senior Director of Change Initiatives at the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, where she develops strategic initiatives that deepen impact and drive innovation, all in service of building a more vibrant Jewish community in the DMV.

With a career rooted in fostering relationships between people(s), Ari has worked to create accessible, inclusive, and thriving communities. That commitment took shape early on at Encounter Programs, where she designed and implemented programming at the intersection of Jewish identity, community, and North American Jewish engagement with Israel.

Ari holds a J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, an M.A. in Coexistence and Conflict Transformation—with a focus on grassroots initiatives and the neuroscience of conflict—from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, and dual B.A.s from Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary.
