RUDY MALCOMCOMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE

Rudy joined the JUFJ Campaign Fund in July of 2022. Prior to working here, Rudy interned at The Forward, a Jewish news site, and was a 2021-22 Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellow. He has also freelanced forĀ Baltimore Fishbowl, Baltimore Jewish Times, Metro Weekly, Montgomery Magazine, Washington Jewish Week, and other publications in the region, often reporting on topics like art, health, social justice, and LGBTQ politics and culture through lenses of Judaism and racial equity.

Rudy is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he studied creative writing and served as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper. While in school, he volunteered with Writers in Baltimore Schools and interned at Hillel International and Out for Justice.

In his free time, Rudy likes to write poetry, worship leaf sheep, and walk in nature. He lives in Baltimore with his pet peeves.
