Jayme joined the JUFJ Campaign Fund in the spring of 2020 as the DC Field Organizer after volunteering with JUFJ in both Montgomery County and DC for several years. She works to help (re)elect JUFJ Campaign Fund endorsed candidates/Councilmembers to office in DC. She also continues to volunteer as the co-chair of JUFJ’s DC Leadership Council and is a member of the DC Racial Equity Core Team.
Before coming to JUFJ, Jayme was an attorney in private practice and with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission; the volunteer coordinator and program manager for Yachad, Inc., a Jewish organization that rehabilitates the homes of lower income DC residents; and a teacher at the Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School in Ward 8. She also serves as the Volunteer Services Associate at Christ House, a medical respite facility in Adams Morgan. She has spent quite a bit of her free time volunteering with political campaigns and is excited to be organizing DC residents to support the campaigns of progressive candidates for DC Council in the Democratic primary on June 2.
Jayme uses she/her/hers pronouns.
